HOW TO IMPROVE TEACHING USING POWERPOINT


· Power point presentation in teaching may arouse student’s interest. Thus, if everybody in the class is motivated then tendency there is they would listen to the teacher attentively. With the animation and other fascinating objects that can be presented through power point, students will really show interest to learn what the lesson for the day is. In this way, definitely, there would be much learning and this is of advantage to the teacher.

· Power Point presentation can also be saved so it can still be used for years depending on where it is useful whether in instruction, entertainment and the like. So the teacher concern can still save his time and can use it for other tasks like studying the lesson he is about to teach, checking papers, preparation of programs and accommodation and the like thus making him more effective in his assigned task.

· Through power point presentation too, the teacher can save his energy. In relation to the second paragraph, the teacher won’t feel exhausted in making his visuals thus when he enters the class he is really in the mood for teaching. We always have to remember that the teacher can perform his task well if he is not tired.

· Power point presentation could also build the confidence of the teacher. This can be achieved when students appreciate the work of the teacher. Confidence builds morale and thus inspiring the latter to improve himself more.
